Default Extended warranty

Hey guys- Does anyone know of reputable warranty companies out there that hande Audi's? I hear Audi does not do extended warranty but rather have 3rd party warranty which they honour. Has anyone had experience with this. I find warranty companies to be sketchy so looking for some guidance. A friend of mine is entertaining picking up an 06 A6 so would love some feedback.

I have a 3rd party warranty with Lubrico. It covers engine, drivetrain, tranny... Major stuff.

Haven't claimed on it yet.

Go to your dealer and find what extended warranty they sell...

Reason being: Going through them means that when they claim, they know who to call for authorization - and how good the service is...

Lubrico is hit and miss - our dealer actually refuses to deal with them....

so let me get this straight. If you have a Lubrico warranty and you need to use it, an Audi dealer will refuse to deal with them on the issue?

or an Audi dealer will not sell a Lubrico warranty

When I bought my car it was still under factory warranty so I got the "wrap" coverage, which covers everything. My main concern though is to cover electrical because you know how these German cars are...lol.
