91 shell most of the time, 94 sunoco once after three times of 91. Keeps tank clean and challenge the ecu so it keeps adjusting to perform better. Why what's up?

I had the car washed 2 days ago and have driven about 20 km since and the exhausts are completely dirty again. Is this normal?
The question was a response to the original post. A lower grade can cause the car to run richer than normal causing sooty pipes.

I run Shell V-Power. I've cleaned the exhaust again to monitor the situation, it doesn't seem as bad as it was. Since I bought the car used, maybe the person before me wasn't using the best fuel. I'm going to also try a fuel system cleaner next fill-up, just in case.

Use seafoam to put in your tank. Helps clean up junk in your fuel tank. Make sure tank is full of fuel first. Also to further clean ur engine, before u go to change oil, put a can of seafoam in as well. Works wonders!!
