Default Certified pre owned imported from the US

Hello

I am planning to import a certified pre owned 2006 Audi A4 from an Audi dealership in the US to Ontario.
Is the extended CPO warrenty is transferable to Canada or is it void?

Thanks,

Shay

CPO warranty is not transferable from the US to Canada.

"This warranty is issued by Audi of America, Inc. for vehicles registered in the U.S. This warranty does not apply to Audi vehicles,
or parts and accessories, not imported or distributed by Audi into the U.S. "

Taken from the Audi USA CPO brochure: http://www.audiusa.com/etc/medialib/....0016.File.pdf

Thanks for your replay.
What if I buy 2007 Audi A4 which still got the original warranty until 2011.
Is the original warranty transferable to Canada?

Thanks
Shay

No problem. Factory warranty is 100% transferable. It expires at the end of four years or 50000 miles/80000 kms whether in Canada or the US.

Well then you lucked out. When I planned to buy a CPO 03 TT from the US, Audi Canada told me the CPO was not transferable. My dealer confirmed it.

To the OP: You should really call or write Audi Canada to get this confirmed.
