Hey there, I'm a new owner of an a4 2.0t quattro special edition and was wondering if there is anything I should be particularly mindful of in the first few thousand kilometers. Mainly the do's/don't's of a new vehicle purchase since it is my first.

Well it is a turbo vehicle so in general as long as you own it warm it up gently especially in cold weather and let it cool down a little after spirited driving by coasting home.

Since its new i'd advise not getting rev happy for the first few thousand km.

Definitely make sure to allow the turbo to cool for a few minutes after spirited runs at any stage of the car's life ! Although some say take it easy for the 1st 1,000 kms or so, if you're truly concerned, wait 'til after the first oil change to drive it like you stole it.
