I have a 2007 A4 and sometimes hear a weak beeping sound that sounds like an alarm coming from the dash (I would estimate that it comes from the region around the radio). It is not the instrument panel warning beep nor is it coming from the audio speakers. Do you know what this could be? Thanks.

 

Is it a single solid beep like half a second long? Could just be the speed warning maybe?

 

No, it is not the speed warning signal. It consists of about ten to twelve short and weak beeping sounds. It happened 3 times.
