Anyone chipped their B7 yet?

I was wondering if anyone has chipped their B7 A4 yet. I'd like this to be an informative post more than anything. If you've got it done:

- Where did you get it done?
- How was your experience with the company
- What product did you go with?
- How does the car feel after you've driven it for a while?

There's a fair amount of info on Audizine and Audiworld on this. Apparentley APR has got amazing software for the B7 ... good luck !

Many of used H2Sports (APR) and BBR (Upsolute) for their chipping needs. Horsepower goes up a bit, but it's the torque that is significant. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these two... but I think I would tend to go with APR as they probably had a bit more development time with the 2.0T.

Timeslips of a stock/chipped B7 A4:

I'd definitely go GIAC on that basis - Let us know how it goes !!

Which dealer is it that lets you chip the car, and keep the warranty? Are they in the GTA? It's interesting that a dealer would give you warranty on something that would typically void the Audi warranty, and I wonder if they honour the entire Audi warranty, or if they have their own version of a warranty.

Sorry I misworded my last post. They don't cover the warranty in place of audi. If something breaks because of the chip then they'll stand behind their product, but you'll have to sign a waiver when you get your chip programmed.

i have the GIAC chip, added 50 HP and the ride is amazing. will get a free X upgrade when they come out with it..which will add another 20, cant wait!

It's the torque that makes a huge difference in acceleration - 50-85lb/ft at the crank.
