Default 3.0T into B7 3.2 Titanium

Hi gang,

New to the forum, I just bought my Mrs an '07 3.2 S-line Titanium

All seems great thus far, but planning ahead (as she'll be having it a while!) I was reading that the 3.0T bottom end is basically our bottom end from the 3.2. So with a little jiggery pokery, could the 3.0 top end and supercharger go on it (in theory?). If 'yes' does this mean the current manual tranny could interact too?

If not , has anyone actually attempted this conversion and dropped an ecu , loom 3.0T block and charger into a B7? Are the current V6 engine mounts accommodating or would a new set need fabricating?

Sorry if this topic has been covered before or indeed if its too stupid an idea to comprehend - but I actually prefer the visual of our B7 to the B8 and as such wanted to have a few plans to prolong its life and make it a great 'street sleeper'

Cheers

M
