2007 B7 coolant loss
Other audi is loosing coolant slowly somewhere , oil and oil cap is fine no signs of coolant there and NO apparent leaks that I can find . I sometimes get a wiff of coolant smell but it has happened from both inside and outside the vehicle , are these things known for heater core issues , car has 250000 kms and has been well maintained and runs great otherwise . Once again any help appreciated .

I posted in your other thread but I'll leave a note here too. Coolant loss in my car over the years has been... cracked J plug, cracked coolant flange (twice) and a failed water pump.

Thanks , ....... what / where is the " J " plug and coolant flange on what the thermostat ? Thnaks for your reply
