2006 Audi A4 2.0T Avant
Thanks! You must be pushing some serious power with your modified 2.0T! Mine is still under warranty for a little while longer, but when it expires I'll be doing some minor upgrades. Definitely an ECU upgrade, along with better wheels and tires. As far as ECU goes, I'll probably go with an APR or GIAC. Wheels will be an RS4 or TT replica as long as it is 18x8. I'm currently using Pirellis at 235/45ZR17s but I'll go with Continentals at 255/40ZR18s.
Yes...a great country for sure! I do miss the the mild BC winters though!! With regard to the tint...I wasn't totally clear...what I meant to say was that mine is tinted and it looks great although I had to remove the tint from the front windows...same rules as BC here in QC! If the rain stops and I get the car cleaned up I'll post some photos for you so you can check it out. Cheers
I actually miss the snow. I lived in Winnipeg for many years. I don't miss the -30 winters but I do miss snow.
Sorry about the misinterpretation, I feel embarrassed now! I love how a car looks tinted. I remember back in Manitoba the regulations regarding tint is no darker than 30% in the front and anything you want in the rear.
Hopefully is the weather stays nice this long weekend I'll be tinting my A6.

Given that you know your performance stuff, I'd reconsider the OEM wheels, knockoff or originals - they're all quite heavy. I dropped nearly 60 lbs of rotating mass with just wheels and tires. 60-freaking-pounds! That is a huge increase in performance and handling feel of the car.
I don't have plans for any serious upgrades to my A4 as it suits me. Most of my budget is geared towards my A6. Unfortunately it seems mismatched as there are far more upgrades available for the A4 2.0T than there is for the A6 2.8 30V. Challenges aside, it would be very unique. I already have wheels chosen for my A6 project. I want my A4 retain it's factory look. The A6 on the other hand, will be very different.
