2006 A4 3.2l rear engine leak. from where HELP PLEASE
I originally thought the leak was coming from the upper timing chain covers. So I re sealed them and then the leak from them stopped.
then a day later after I parked the car for 2 days I noticed another leak still coming from the same area. So I got under the car and it looks like it’s coming from the same area but not as high up. It was dripping off some bolts that go from the back of the engine to the front differential to the transmission. (I think I’m not a mechanic but I do research and do some of my own work as I enjoy it. )
I have attached some pictures of there the leak is coming from.
I think it’s engine oil as it is the brown colour but I did think it was a little more thick.
