I actually just found this posting while looking for the same thing.
I was driving my A4 the other day and it ran out of washer fluid. I filled it up and now its not working.
My pump is not making any noise and I can't get the headlight washers to pop out either.
If you find out whats wrong with yours can you please post it so I can look at mine.
Its dark otherwise I'd check the fuse right now.
