VW roof rack on 2003 A4
Hard to say. Not likely for a same year Jetta. You would need to see if the bars could be adjusted wide enough. The A4 is likely a wider car than the Jetta. You also need to see if the way they mount is the same. If it's a cheap enough deal you could just buy them and if it doesn't work just resell them.
Probably not.... The A4s have holes along the roofline inside the doorframes for a custom A4 B6 rack. Unless your Jetta was designed using the same B6 Chassis I doubt it will fit.
It is true.... Thule makes all the factory rack systems for Audi and on behalf of my Thule rack setup, the fit kit for my B6 has the notches that fit into the holes perfectly. Great idea too as it takes away from all the guess work of spacing. I used to sell roof racks back in my cycling days and I'll tell you what, if you want a good rack, Thule and Yakima are the way to go for a good NO PAINT SCRATCHING fit.
