I have an e-bay KKL 409.1 cable Can I use Vag com 311.2 instead of 409.1 for 2005 B6, 1.8T? Thank you and Cheers.

 

Why don't you just download both versions and try it? My take is 409 should work fine but I have the full Ross-Tech cable now so don't have any version related issues

 

I had a faulty coilpack and the MIL light came on. Replaced the coil and took my A4 to the Dealer for the A4 coil packs recall. But the dealer didn't reset the MIL light. They wanted to charge $120 for the scan and reset. Now the airbag light also on, I suspect the connection under the seat due to the wet weather we had in Vancouver. Now need to scan and reset both lights. Which version is good ! Or can I install both versions in the same laptop?!!

 

I'd go with 409 but I know you can install multiple versions at the same time; I've got all the versions after 409 on my laptop; just make sure each version is installed into a unique folder.
