Default Stage1+ with apr diverter valve help

I just got the stage 1+ with the apr valve put into my car last week, now the car check engine light is on (It stays solid) and its is acting very strange.

Whenever I push the peddle down to go the RPMs will go from 2000 to 5000 very fast, then come back down to 3000 stay there for a sec then go back up to 5000...This happens in very gear. It also seems pretty random when the rpms go up

Im just hope this is a comon problem with an easy fix and not my turbo going....

Pleasee help with some ideas

It sounds like you need a new clutch.

Unless I've misunderstood, what you're describing is a worn out clutch that is slipping. Your car is a manual transmission right?

Yea, your probley right......I dont know to much about cars, If it is a clutch how much do OEM cost to replace? Compared to an aftermarket one.
I really hope thats what it is.

Would my check engine light come on for a slipping clutch?

Looking at my warrenty im covered, just have to pay 200 bucks. Should I take it to the dealers since the cost is not an issue?

Clutch is usally a wear and tear item not normally covered by vehicle warranties but double check the wording of your warrant for confirmation. If it is covered by your warranty and your deductible is $200 then I would go for it.

ya its a slipping clutch. the reason you notice it now is because you now have more power...

When you have a slipping clutch what do you have to replace. New flywheel? If I have to replace this, if its not covered and its gonna cost me 700+ bucks I should look into getting something a little better,no?

Can you guys give me a few ideas which aftermarket clutch kit is good but not crazy expensive?
