Sport suspension vs Bilstein/H&R sport
Have a question about my 2005 A4 3.0L Quattro USP. The stock factory sport suspension was already pretty low compared to other A4's out there but wanted to fix the gap differences in the front and back. The front always seemed about 3/4" higher than the back. And from what I've read, that's normal. So I purchased Bilstein performance shocks and paired them with H&R sport springs as I've heard that this was a very popular and credible combination. H&R states that it lowers the car approx 1" (slightly more in the front). So I thought that this would fix the problem. After getting them installed it looks exactly the same!! It's still has a larger wheel gap in the front and it doesn't even look like I lowered the car at all! Now it seems that I've wasted my money on trying to correct the wheel gap problem as some users on this forum stated it would. Besides handling amazingly, there's seems to be no difference in aesthetics. So my question is, what can i do to fix this problem? My brother told me to wait for it to settle, but when it settles, so too will the rear springs, which doesn't help my cause.
I'd like to hear some sound advice and opinions from the best out there.

unless you get coilovers your never going to be able to get the front and back to be the same height since you cant adjust them. The height is the same its the fenders i believe that cause the effect.
In any case how long have you had them on? Once they settle they are guaranteed to be lower.

yeah I would also like to get some feedback as I'm also looking into lowering the car a little bit more then the stock sport suspension.
And yeah the h&R sport states an extra 1 inch lower then the sport which would pretty much get rid of the fender gap.

i dont think it lowers an extra inch from the sport suspension. Its 1.5-1.8 from stock suspension.
9 months later and I didn't see much of a settle with the springs. I still have a larger wheel gap in the front than the back by about 3/4". I love the ride quality but am not happy with the ride height in the front. My next step was to either buy the H&R "race" springs or buy the "front coilover kit" from ECS tuning. By getting the front coilover kit, I can drop the front that extra 3/4" to even the gaps in the front to match the back. I've seen pics of other B6's out there with Neuspeed springs and they look sick! Already dropped more money than I wanted to on the suspension. I don't wanna buy a new set of springs and run into the same problems.
Anyone have any pics of their B6's with H&R sports with Bilsteins?

hy hows things goin with ur suspension? my car has non sport oem shocks with h&r sport springs. just ordered the bilstein sport shocks n wondering what im gona expect...
The ride quality is smooth. The handling and cornering are amazing. You won't see much of a change in height though. You'll end up needing the bilsteins sooner or later anyways. Good buy.
I'm waiting for my struts to die on me before getting the Bilstein, hopefully I'll get less bounce when taking a curve at high speeds with these.
Here's a picture on Sport Springs, stock struts (non-usp):
