steam clean might just be your best bet. But I don't know if you interior will peel or not! Peeling interior is a known issue...

Hmm...if it's surface only, maybe try using those multi-purpose cleaning wipes?

This happened to a friend of mine. He just used a soft cloth and some warm water and was able to get it all off with great results. It really depends on how deep it is in there but i'd try the easiest/least expensive way first.

ya that cupholder useless. used it a couple times, had some spills caused by mear cracks in the road and decided never to use it again. the only time it ever comes out is when my friends are in the car playing what does this button do?!

anyway, to clean i'd just use an all purpose cleaner and cloth that you can weasel into the little cracks where the buttons are. don't spray the radio with the cloth, spray the cloth and then wipe....you don't want more junk inside you your electronics!

QFT. I only use them for closed water bottles or the whole novelty of "WOAH A SPRING LOADED CUPHOLDER!!!?!??"

Hahaha....that is EXACTLY what happens to me. I think it's the picture of a drink that intrigues them, and tempts them to push it.
