Default Prospective buyer - 2005 A4 Avant

Hi all,
Just joined as I'm interested in buying a used A4, and wanted some general feedback on reliability and ownership costs.
I just found a 2005 A4 Avant 3.0 with 113K Km's on it. Looks like a nice car, but I am concerned about buying a car with over 100k Km's on it.
If the car is well maintained, can I expect to have a relatively trouble free ownership experience?
Any input is most appreciated.

You can expect to have a rather expensive ownership experience. Make sure the timing belt was done. That alone is a $1,400 service for your car.

I dont have any problems with my B6 Avant 1.8T but i have heard that the 3.0 seem to be a lot more expensive to keep on the road.

Get as many service records as possible.

I've spend 3K in repairs in the last 18 months, but I just might be unlucky.....

yes get all the info you can on the service history of that car. Audi is nice but when it gets old it could be a money pit. I've spent 1700 the past month on mine. Now the front left wheel bearing is making noise
