Hey guys, my plate light sensor just came on so I'm looking to replace them with some LED's. I know the part number is 6418, but now there are length's like 31mm, 36mm, 38mm, 39mm, and 41mm. Which one do I need? Basically I know I need a festoon 6418 but I'm not sure what length I need. Any further information I need to know about LED plate lights are appreciated.


I am currently looking at these LED's they are CREE and have less then 1% variance. Does anybody have any suggestions on which LED's I should get?

Take an existing bulb out and measure it.

Do both 39mm and 36mm fit my car?



I searched around google and on this forum and I can't find a clear cut tutorial on how to change the bulbs. I've come across tuts for the b5 and you need to remove the trunk liner. Anybody have a tutorial for the b6?

 

if 39mm fit dont u think 36mm would fit....
