Default Passenger Seats From 3.0L

I have just bought front seats off a guy today from a 2003 A4 3.0. Drivers seat installed ok but when I got to the passenger seat the electronics didn't work. Would there be a harness issue since my passenger seat wasn't electric before? Thanks

North American 1.8T didn't have power passenger seats as an option. but they may well have used the same harness. You should check under the carpet and see if there is an extra connector buried away somewhere. Check the connector on the drivers side with whatever exists on the passenger side and see what pins are there. Probably a set for the seat heaters and the rest should be power and ground for the seat motor. Worst case you'll need to supply power and ground separately to the seat.

Both drivers and passenger seat have the same harness with same pins. The red box is the one that powers all the seat motors. I'm not sure if there is a fuse maybe for this seat somewhere? or if the fuse went would it knock out both seats?

So I just put my mulitmeter to that red box and only getting voltage from one set of pins. I can't really do anymore tests at the moment, it just started raining. I have a 12v power supply ready to hook up to the seat and see if everything works there. It should work though because none of the buttons on the side are doing anything to the seat which makes me think its a harness issue.

Ok, so I hooked up the power supply to the seat and you can hear it trying to move but it wasn't enough power. I hooked the seat up to the drivers side and everything works fine. So my conclusion is that theres a fuse blow somewhere or the harness isn't properly hooked up to the fuse box. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the passenger seat?

The manual for my 3.0L B6 says my power seats are protected by an automatic circuit breaker. Sorry don't know where they are located - hopefully someone else can help
