Default lil 1.8t doesnt like hot days

There's lil or no turbo spool sound on those hot days.

Today being the breezy one, I could hear the spool and BOV again, hurray for cool days.

Is this common for turbo cars?

my car was awfully slow coming back from vernon yesterday when it's 30 outside.
But when outside temp is less than 20, it's a different car.

my 2.0T much prefers when the temp is below 20. I'm pretty sure it's because cool air is more dense than hot air which allows for more oxygen to be forced into the engine and used for combustion.

cool air is better for sure. But there must be a way to reduce the heatsoak in our cars.
I mean i have front mount intercooler and still heatsoak.
