Default How do you change the triptronic switch

I have a 2002 A4 1.8t quattro and was told by th dealer that it would cost me 600 dollars to change out the triptronic switch. Does anyone know how to change this out or is it to much to do on your own?

You should be able to find one for $10 if you do your homework, I have seen them for sale on e-bay and read how to change them on different forums. I dont remember where but i know the info is out there. Don't sweat it, pretty simple fix - just need to find out how.
