I just bought a 6 speed 2005 A4 a few days ago, today it started beeping at me. The problem is it reads in french and the owners manuals are in french. Can someone please help me in changing the primary language to English?

Changing the Instrument Cluster display language requires a VAG-COM/VCDS tool, or dealers scan tool, change the value stored in adaptation channel 004, from: de.openobd.org;

take it to the dealership. Thy changed mine for free when i had an oil change done. otherwise i think they were going to charge me $40 to have it changed.
