I did this on a road trip. Averaging 38mpg imperial, which is 31.6mpg metric. I was pretty proud of the old girl :D |

With 75% highway & 25% city I average about 16 L/100K

2004 A4 1.8tq with 6 speed manual... 520 kms to a tank mixed driving. I could probably get more if I wanted to but I enjoy the right pedal too much... even more now that I have the APR Stage 1+ installed! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just changed my air filter and i have noticed an immediate improvement in my fuel economy.
i guess my old air filter was very clogged FYI

Ok i got most of you guys beat!!!!!
04 B6 1.8T Multitronic easy mixed driving(highway & city, 700-800km a tank easy highway and long trips, gotten 975km out of full tank of 93 octane premium, 91 octane gets me about 900-950km going 120kmh and with 3 other passengers and the trunk full of stuff mind you!! so far no matter how hard ive driven, usually never got less that 650km a tank! one time i had lots of adrenaline, drove 200kmh+ a few times on that tank and did a lot of passing, pretty much just showing everybody my cars big rear end and still i did about 10-11 l/100kmh, or something like 20-25mpg!
