wired mine from new stereo with IPOD cable through to glovebox, so IPOD Nano just sits inside glovebox, completely out of sight! Now have 177cds connected to stereo. Only problem is signal output varies too much between albums. I think I set IPOD right, but sound levels still vary. I set the "Sound Check" setting to ON. Is this the only method to have output levels equal?

Sorry it took to long as the only camera I have is my iPhones. So yeah....I had to take out the radio, a/c and heating deck, and dismantle the boot on my shifter. After that was all done I ran the iPod connector though all those compartments all the way to my arm rest as you can see in this picture.

I "installed" my iPod in my armrest. Using this: Wireless FM Transmitter | Canadian Tire

A wireless AM/FM transmitter, that works quite well. Okay, I didn't really install it then, i merely hooked it up and placed it. Seems to have better connection in the armrest close to the car phone plug in.

Here is my setup. I just had an ipod holder that used to use the cupholder in the car. Behind the lighter the little compartment with a rubber mat at the bottom actually has a hole (under the rubber mat) that i managed to twist my ipod holder into. It has a suction cup so my ipod sits on top without moving.

The charger above it is just for my iphone, i keep it plugged in because i dont have a cig lighter so the hole looks dumb in my opinion without anything filling it.

Cool Re: Fancy That - Your Ipod Setups

Here is my setup. Monster FM transmitter and a vent mount purchased from ebay.

It is easy for me to adjust the music, make a few day trades, and answer calls. I have the ipod headphones handy too.

Best cheapo setup I have had.
