Drivers window acting wierd
Hi Guys
I am the proud owner of an 03 A4 B6 cabriolet with 127,000 kms, I have completed the following mtce on the car:
Replaced the cam chain tensioner gasket (heavy oil leak onto turbo)
Replaced U/S non return valve in PCV hose (uneven idle when engine warm)
So I am no stranger to getting my hands dirty, but the current problem has me beat:
When we close the drivers door the window drops to half mast (roof opening position) when you pull the switch to raise the glass it goes down & stays there ! the only way we have found to get it up is to repeatedly pull up on the switch quickly. This only started intermittently after we had a non Audi garage install a new drivers side door lock mechanism $900.00AU all up.
I suspect it is a programming issue but don't know the fix, has anyone else had similar.
