Hey i got an 03 3.0 with about 110km

I got a letter from audi a while back about replacing the coil packs as a recall.

I have never had a problem with them.

Should I go in to get them changed??

 

It doesn't cost you anything, and a high percentage of the coil packs do fail. I don't see the downside.

 

I would do it. If they fail, they'll fail without warning and you could get stranded somewhere.

I hope they will still replace the old ones.. I got that notice like 8 -9 months ago

 

They will...Just do it and be on the safe side instead of gambling which will cost you quite a bit.
FYI:
I got my 2005 3 months ago from my old neighbor who barely drove it and was parked for 1 year. Prior to the purchase it went for a full inspection at the dealership I did bring up the old Coilpack recall and they changed what had to be done free of charge included with my inspection/oil/battery change

 

Get it done! anytime you can get something free out of audi do it! lol
