Default Clutch recommendations '03 A4

hey guys... just noticed the clutch is starting to slip a bit in my 2003 1.8TQ Avant 5 speed, so i am looking for anyone with first hand experience to give some recommendations on possible replacements. i am not opposed to going with oem, but would also consider taking this opportunity to upgrade, though i don't want anything with an extremely agressive feel. looking for advice on whether or not to consider going to stage 1, or 2, or a possible lighter flywheel.... in case it is relevant, i am currently running APR stage 1+, but will be installing a 3" test pipe and going to stage 2+ in the next couple weeks.
thanks in advance for any advice.

Jordon

whatever you choose stay away from a dynapak/fenco oem replacement, my reason for upgrading to an audi was the fenco replacement i had put in my old car failed after 30k kms and 2.5 years due to poor materials/workmanship the release bearing wore right thru the pressure plate im assuming due to poor heat treating of the pressure plate fingers.

I ended up ordering the Valeo clutch kit with single mass flywheel from germanautoparts.com along with a new slave cylinder. I have read many positive reviews on this as an oem+ mild upgrade. Since I plan on sticking with my K03, I think it should be sufficient. People say the pedal feel is improved and that the engagement point is halfway through the pedal range as opposed to the stock clutch which engages at the very top. The single mass flywheel is about 5 lbs lighter than stock... Heavy enough that it should not chatter, but light enough that I would expect that the revs should be freed up just a touch. After
installation and break in I will post a review.
