Here’s the situation guys……

2004 A4, with 153k on it….1.8TQ
Was driving home from work this weeks and my CEL (check engine light) came on. It wasn’t flashing, just came on and stayed.
10mins later my oil light started flashing. Obviously this concerned me.
I took to the dealership RIGHT AWAY. They told me that my coolant flange was leaking and my cam adjusters seal was leaking causing a pretty severe oil leak.
All in all, they quoted me $1200 for it all…..ouch
Yesterday I took my car to my mechanic and he said my coolant was fine but he did need to fix the cam adjuster which he did for $400.
He scanned the error code and the code for a tune up and misfiring came up, and a lean code. (I already change my ignition coils from the recall).
While driving to work today, the CEL came on again! Now, he did not do the ‘tune up’ on the car.
Could this be the issue causing the CEL??? Whenever I’m at a red light for about 15 seconds, I feel a vibration under my foot. Could that be the misfire??
Please advise….I’m VERY concerned!!!
