Cut and pasted from my link on how to bed-in brakes: "DO NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP! If you stop completely and sit there with your foot on the brake pedal, you will imprint pad material onto the hot rotors, which could lead to vibration, uneven braking, and even ruin the rotors."

How can you lock the brakes when there's ABS? But that's a good point, since if the ABS were to kick in it might produce uneven wear on the hot brakes due to the stuttering.

I 'bed' the brakes and now they are totally quiet. This worked great! Was kinda fun too. It was interesting to see how much farther my breaking distance increases the hotter the pad is.

Thanks!
