Car got me to work fine. When I pulled into my parking spot, there was a strange sound, sort of like a cyclical quacking, and the car shut itself off. Now the car wont start up anymore.

all belts, water pump, coils and spark plugs have been replaced recently.

Car turns over, wont start, no warning lights on dashboard, fuel shows just under quarter tank.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

is there a fuel pump reset switch?

 

does it turn on and then the ignition gets cut off?
or it doesn't turn on at all?

 

wont turn on at all. i smacked the gas tank a couple times, got it to sputter for about three seconds, then nothing again

 

Sounds like you need a fuel pump...

 

it was the pump...
