Default B6 A4 APR Chipped - power loss

I had the Apr 91 octain chip installed a few months ago and I'm very happy with results but on a long trip through the mountains this weekend I lost power while running hard under load on hills. It was as if the turbo shut down and then would re-activite if i backed off. This went on for about 20 mins and then the power loss stayed for the next 60 miles. When this was happening the gas mileage went way down as well. I shut the car of 10 mins and it seemed to be better after that. I'm thinking its the diverter valve but really have idea. 2 days later the same thing coming home but not as bad as I took it easy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

Did you replace the DV when you chipped the car?

No, I did not replace the DV as the APR dealer said it was not neccesary. I talked to APR and they think it is the fuel pump??
