Looking at Shipping companies to transport A4 within Canada. ON->AB
Anyone recommend companies / or suggest ones to avoid in terms of:
- security
- timeliness
- proper car / damages
- cost
- train vs truck (car carrier)
etc.

I'm looking a shipping my daughters C30 Volvo from AB to Ontario. I googled auto transport and found a broker that had three companies contact me. Quotes are in the $1250 to $1500 range, depending on whether the car is exposed or enclosed. Don't have the website or company names in front of me, sorry.

 

I ended up going with Hansens. Just over 1000$. arrived in about 10 days in great shape. Enclosed train car.

 

Thanks. I checked out auto carriers (semi trailers) but not rail. I have a look. We're also looking at selling the car on Lease Busters here in Edmonton.
