hi,

i just bought a 2001 audi a4 b6 with the base stereo
and im thinking of getting something better but unsure if i should just
get a sub and amp and a head unit and keep the standard speakers that came with the car or should i change the speakers too?

i dont want something really incredible just something that is clean if i do turn it up loud if im out with my mates.

Couple of things... ALWAYS change the speakers. Also, at least in Canada, we never had 2001 B6 A4s. B5s were built until 2001 and B6s from 2002 to 2005.
