I am now running stage 1+ with 386cc inj. LOVING ITTTTTT!

My car was such a slug before, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

 

ahh stage1+ with a apr catback does really sound inticing! ahh such a slippery slope.. Hows the gains going from 1 to 1+? noticeable? looks like a smoother power curve with way more at the >4000rpm range. where I notice it currently falls off a bit on the stage1. Any issues with stock clutch's with the added Torque once u start to go 1+? and hows the apr sport exhaust sound?

 

i see your description says multitronic, does that mean you have the FWD CVT tranny cause thats what the multitronic is, and if yes, have you encountered any problems with added power yet? have a B6 A4 CVT myself and wanted to ECU to stage 1+ but wasnt sure.

Yes, it's FWD.
No problems, I maintain my car extremely well.
Just have to make sure you upgrade to the 386CC injectors with Stage 1+

 

Can you overmaintain your car?
because thats what ppl are saying i do to mine, but then again maybe thats why it has close to 240ks on it and been driving like a charm. just would like a little more oomph!!!

been looking at APR stage 1+ for 2 years now, maybe ill pull the trigger next year in summer when the deal comes back,

right now ive got a MK2 Golf CL to play with

can anyone suggest a good place near toronto to get APR stage 1 installed and... is this the best ECU for my 2009 A4 ?? would really appreciate any advice

 

Not too sure about directly in Toronto, but I got mine done at H2Sport in Georgetown, they are directly connected to the VW dealership there. The shop only deals with German cars. I'm actually going back there to get my ECU re-flashed, because I swapped out my battery and lost the program. Good thing for free re-flash!!
The guys at the shop are great too, they accommodated my appointment within the same day (it only takes like an hour to do), and they sit with you and go through the program and show you how to use all the features of the program.

Turns out when I swapped the battery, the program just locked out, I just had to unlock it. Anyways, you can DEFINITELY feel
The difference. I felt my program was gone the
Moment I pulled out of my driveway. Definitely a worthy upgrade. Did you end up getting it? I know this is a late response
