Just had autobahnperformance.ca in Edmonton do the ECU flash on my car. Took 40 minutes. Huge improvement in 1st gear-car doesn't bog off the line, noticeable in the others. And if it's possible, the car is a little smoother. Boost is a little noisier. Looking at doing the down pipe and back APR exhaust next.

Great, simple performance mod. I would recommend it.

 

Congrats but be careful, its a slippery slope!! Before you know it, you'll "need" injectors, FMIC, snub mount, short shifter, HFC, coilovers, RNS-E, BT, stage 4 clutch ....

 

I'm in Edmonton too and have been thinking about getting it done at autobahn performance. How much did it end up costing?

 

Autobahn was awesome. I think your B6 1.8T costs slightly less than my B7 2.0T to flash. With tax, two programs, and the security lock out, it was $900.

Honestly, it was so worth it. The performance gains are pretty good and I haven't encountered a downside to the upgrade, plus it takes 20 minutes to do.
