You're right, I suppose the rims would be silver. Thanks for the heads up about the HP/UHP sidewalls on the tires. I have a regular, honest mechanic that's taking a look at it tomorrow. I'll see what he thinks and will post his conclusion.

Car's back from the mechanic:

- tires were out of balance
- the front right rim was slightly bent

The mechanic moved the front right rim, to the back right (Hankook Ventus HRII tires are direction specific). Said the bend wasn't significant enough to worry about right now, but should be addressed before the end of the summer - buy a new rim, or have the rim straig

I noticed a significant improvement in the drive, despite the bent rim.

The bent rim may cause some vibration in the seat when going at a certain speed but otherwise you're alright for now until you replace/straighten it. I had a tire bulge last summer in the back that showed a vibration around 105 km/h
