Default Abs light

Ok so the other day I was driving to a friends place about 15 min drive & about 2 min into the drive the abs light came on. When I was going back home no light came on. I drove all of yesterday & again no light. Now this morning when I started the car the light came on.

Is this something I need to look @ right away?? or can I wait till the Christmas break to get it check out.

Thanks

Something is wrong with your abs module so i recommend getting it looked at right away. Take it to your shop and just grab your notes with you while you wait. Thats what i do

My buddy drives with his ABS lights on for the last ....8 months, he has a van though so he doesn't give two *****. But it is your brakes and it could be something serious, and at this time of yeah ABS is a need, like last night for example, it was bloody slippery as hell!

I vote get your books and your laptop or notebook and chill at the shop while getting it checked out.

You should be good, no issues just your ABS will shut off if there are any major faults. So when driving dont depend on it.

You're not going to wreck anything. Just drive as though you don't have any ABS. If the problem is intermittent, then it may just be a wheel sensor. I had this problem on my BMW before.

It's funny because not once today did the light come on. So I don't know if this is just some cable being loose.
