How the hell can a 25 grand car be worth the same as a 50grand car after 9 years??

my 03 3.0 is worth around 9 grand.. well so to is my buddys 03 civic coupe si.

I'm depressed now

I think you guys are comparing apples to oranges here lol. I'm not sure where you guys are getting your numbers from but... The numbers I came up with are in your favor lol. I pulled the black book trade in values on both, 2003 Honda civic coupe si.: $2960.00 - $4480.00 and your 2003 Audi A4 3.0L: $6340.00 - $8730.00 If you're like me, I prefer stuffed potatoe over rice any day lol

There is absolutely no comparing AWD to FWD...

mind you the sacks of cash you'll save driving a civic is worth noting.

 

Agreed. Some days I wish I could be the guy rolling around in a decade old Civic, rocking a $200 suit and Timex, just enjoying a John Tesh piano solo while I get 45MPG, not giving a crap about anything....but then I snap out of it, turn up the Massive Attack, hit the on-ramp with all four tires spinning, and go home and nail my hot wife.

I was looking @ autotrader & most clean 03 si's low kms are around 7-8 grand.. which is pretty much what the 03 3.0 are going for more or less..

but yeah they should closer to what the black book numbers are!!!

 

had a 2005 Civic Vtech manual
have a 2004.5 Audi A4, firstly ill leave the civic in the dust any day (stock)
and ill do it in comfort and style and without my engine screaming bloody murder @ 9000 rpms like the Civic did, just saying!!

i now also drive a 1990 Golf CL 2door automatic, takes half a lifetime to get to 100kmh
