I am thinking of getting a shark fin for my A4..........does anyone have a picture of their car, or know of a good place to purchase one? I have been on Ebay, but not sure of the size or type to buy....

 

Your car never came with the fin?

 

I sense sarcasm..........if I had a fin, why would I be on here searching for answers concerning a fin? Do you know of any solutions?

 

get an after market on they sell them ive seen they before at a tuner shop or so

 

No sorry I just thought all the new A4's had them. Unfortunately the fins on the audi are different than the BMW's. I don't have a picture but they look like an upside-down surfboard.

 

Haha..that's the best way to describe it...the base is more rectangular-like, with a little point. The bf has one, but hasn't gotten it installed yet. (Well, he thinks he's going to do it himself, but I don't think that's wise.) I would get a pic for you, but he's a couple hours away and I probably won't see him for a week or so.

All I know is, he paid out of his *** buying it from the dealer. They gave him a discount because it wasn't the colour of his car, but it's still a lot (and not installed).

 

I am trying to get one off of Ebay......but I am not sure I like the style....I want one that looks like the BMW, but fits my car..........I wonder if it matters?

 

I wonder if it really matters if it is a BMW one or not? I like that style the best! I am looking at ones from Ebay, but it is hard to tell if they are similar or not, they are showing the same fin for 50 different cars.........!

 

well a fin is just a fin to me nothing different

 

dont buy a fin off of ebay... they're probably really cheaply made if you get a generic one...

Pay a little extra so your bodyshop won't charge you a ton to put it on the car...
