so i need to change my oil, i have over 200,000 kms on the car.


i purchased a mobil 1 M1-204 oil filter at crappy tire for 16 bucks i would like to verify that this is the right filter for my car, i dont trust crappy tire employees...
i cant seem to find a match up list for part numbers on this mobil 1 filter

i am not sure what oil to use with the car, ive never changed the oil, my mechanic has and i bought the car used just a few months back, frankly i would prefer to do my own change.

i dont wanna run anything that will cause problems.

do i have to run synthetic or can i use conventional, also what brand, 0w 40 or what?
people have told me the 3.0 does not need synthetic...
