2002 A4 1.8T Farting Noise
Hi everyone,
Newbie here.
I just receently chipped(unitronics) my 2002 A4 1.8T Avant(all stock) and also upgarded the diverter valve. For some reason when driving for the 1st mile I get farting noises coming from something inside my hood(DV or turbo, don't know). It usually happen in my 2nd, or 3rd gear at 2.5K-3.8K RPM. But after a mile or so it goes away. Any thoughts?
Thanks

ive been thinking of APR tuning stage1+ my wagon too. Have you had any problems now that its chipped?? how about economy etc etc??
No problems, only problem is the gas leak because I'm addicted to flooring it now.
I can't seak for the APR but the unitronics really made a difference. The only complain I had is the turbo seemed to spike a lot. But I've solved that now after upgrading to the N75H valve now.
