but if i put my headlights and tailights on, the right side still wont light up, it lights up only when i put the rear fog lights on

 

Correct - if you are doing that foglight mod you are enabling 2 rear foglights (left & right). The circuit is still controlled by the fog light switch.

Your car has brake light, taillight, turn signal light, reversing light and foglight at the rear. Depending upon model, one bulb may serve more than one function.

What are you expecting to happen?

 

Do you guys have the side parking light as well? (park and leave the car with the turn signal on).
