Default Tailgating

What is proper procedure to deal with the tailgating driver.

I divide them into categories

1. Moderate - stays behind at 2 meters

2. Bad - at 1 meter

3. Brain problem - at 1 meter with the cell phone

4. Dangerous - at 1 meter with cell phone and looking in the mirror

For type 4 I slam brakes and gas right after, but maybe there is a better way.

Pull over and let them pass...... its not worth it. Or, you can do what I do..... Reach into the back seat and load up the rocket launcher.

Same here: change the lane and let them go... If someone wants to drive faster it is his/her prerogative, not mine. Let the police deal with over the speed limit; I am not the law enforcer. I have no problem with people speeding as long as the manoeuvres are done properly. How many times we've seen drivers doing the speed limit but driving like as being fresh out of the driving school ?!

well if it's in the passing lane & your blocking it you should move over for cars that wish to drive faster pass you.

I hate when u get people driving slow in the fast lane!!!

Sometimes it is not safe to change lane or pull over. In these situations I use my rear fog lights and they think that these are brake lights. This applies to cases 1 and 2.

Perfect solution: stop driving, sell your car, and stop posting here.
