i have a 1999 audi a4 quattro i have a code p1545 coming up and i really dont know were to turn ,im wondering if anybody has run into this problem and how they fixed it,thank you. russell

 

i guess you have a vag-com.
try to calibrate your throttle body first before you are starting to take the car apart.

select engine controller and measuring group 60

 

sorry, I'm not too used to VagCom - how do I calibrate - are there any limits, do I need to key in anything? My throttle is going up & down like crazy, sends the same P1545 code and engine dies once I take the foot off the pedal...I'd hate to take it to the "stealership" if I can "re-tune" the throttle

what kind of engine is it? Maybe you need your throttle body cleaned. When and what was the last service done to your car?
