im having a problem in installed my boost gauge and i was figuring i wasnt gettin proper boost so i check the gauge and it low i need a boost leask check found nothing looks alright need help, this is what the gauge is reading!

 

your vac should be reading 21-19, during idle.

 

looks about right, how much does it show under load?
is the car chipped or stock?

 

okay didnt know that was normal cuz i looked and there was nothing and its only spiking like 8 at the most and its chipped thanks guys

 

i have a used ko3 in my back room with 71k on it thinkin bout swapin that when i do my timing belt there a loud whistle from the turbo when i start the car and it take a couple minutes to spool down i always let my turbo cool down but my brother and his girl used the car for a few months before he left for the army

 

what engine is in there? if it's a 1.8T 8psi is original, not chipped.

 

its chipped by speed tuning and ya its a 1.8t now im thinking im got ripped off by them
