Default How hard do you drive your A4?

Just wondering how hard you drive your car. I can get to 5000 rpm pretty quick, but I dont know where the red line is, or even what the "recommended" shift points are. I'd post this in the general discussion areas, but the TT and the S series owners may not share the same opinions as the A4 drivers.

Audis seem to have strong engines and transmissions and I sure as hell dont want to drive like an old lady. I want to push this car and really get all I can out of my engine without blowing it up.

How much push is too much for these fine vehicles? I'm seriously considering taking a performance driving class/school. Just the thought of it gets me all worked up and excited.

hey... do you have a 1.8T or 2.8?

The shift points i guess would probably be different for both engine models...

i usually shift around 3k, i guess i'm getting old lol.

to me, there's really no recommended shift points you should follow, whatever acceleration you require at that point in time determines your shift point.

my 2cents.
