Default Ho ho ho

Where did my fluid go?

WAS: on MAXIMUM
IS: on MINIMUM

I have no leaks whatsoever and everything double clamped.
This happened within 2 days. Maybe I am using the wrong one. Which one am I supposed to use. The guy at Auto Value says that the one with silicates will sublime into sand inside the radiator. Is it true?

BTW Adam, can you give me any advice in opening frozen door and windows on my car?
It took me like half an hour to get into my car this morning.... Windows are still frozen after I've been running the car for like 5 hrs... Hopefully this doesn't happen again tomorrow.

Adam: use the extended life silicate free. As for the level, perhaps you had some air pockets in the system. Did you bleed it? Other possibility, vapor leak.

Mike: pentosin is the proper stuff (same as G12).
Also, you can try pouring wiper fluid all over your doors/windows. Should free them up.

What does "ho ho ho" have to do with losing rad fluid?

I believe when the car is cold is going to read minimum and once its warmed up its going to rise up to max. Mine fluctuates a lot.

Apply silicone on the seals (windows and doors)
