Diagnostic question?
Hi guys
New to the forum just bought my first audi a few months back for cheap, pretty much rebuilt it to be honest haha i took it to a local mechanic to plug it in and see why it keeps throw CEL's and his computer came back with an "ecu defective"?!? It's running good but keeps throwing the light and no other codes come up.....any ideas?

Get someone with Vag-Com or buy a eBay cable and use their shareware to scan for codes. Without knowing what the code is, it will be hard to tell you what is wrong or how to fix it.
