Is there anyone out there that has imported a US spec B5 A4 [1997-1998]? I was wondering if they could provide some advice/help on getting the child tether anchorage modifications done for federal inspection. Is it even possible to be done on these model years and where would be the best place to get this done in Ontario. Are there any mods that can/has been done?

I can't answer that as mine wasn't imported so it didn't need to be done. But I can tell you that almost all cars can be fitted with latch and tether systems, even if they didn't have it to begin with. As long as it has seat belts, it can be done.

So if the worst comes to the worst you can always have an entirely new system fitted. Take it in to a local Audi dealer and seek their advice.
