Hey guys, ive been researching this issue of my check engine light, the code is coming up as "the secondary air injection, incorrect upstream airflow detected. etc etc"

So far, all i have come up with to check is the kombi valve / EGR valve? If it is faulty it can allow exhaust gases through, which condensate and causes water build-up in the air pump. Is this true? another tip was to check all hoses fr cracks or damage, i did find one small hose (1/4 inch) that attaches to the kombi valve, and it was not attached. i reattached it, cleared the code. but it came back.

Someone else mentioned to check the fuse under the cowling, i tried looking but i dont know what "cowling" means. lmao where might i find that??

I am new to this but i really dont consider myself as a "time sink" or whatever you guys call a lazy dumb newbie lmao. I do my research, get my hands dirty and work my *** off. But from what i have heard, this situation is a b!tch to troubleshoot.

Im open to suggestions. For all willing to teach me the way, Cheers.

Alex

I was having the same code. What I did was check all the vacuum lines. Especially the one connected to the combi Valve. Mine was torn. Replaced it and the code went away. Hopefully that helps.

Good Luck.
